Day 352 – Ps 107, 126; Rev 10

Ps. 107, 126

God is in the restoration business!  He takes the bad things that happen to us and the bad things that we do and, when we cry out to Him, He turns them into good things.  There is no situation or circumstance that He cannot turn around. He lifts up the humble, the needy, the afflicted, but makes low the haughty and the oppressor.  When God acts, “all wickedness shuts its mouth” (Ps. 107:42b).  How awesome is that!?!  Let the wise “consider the steadfast love of the LORD.” (Ps 107:43b) and “Let the redeemed of the LORD say so” (Ps. 107:2a)!

Rev. 10

“In the days of the trumpet call to be sounded by the seventh angel, the mystery of God would be fulfilled, just as He announced to His servants the prophets” (Rev 10:7).  So it isn’t just me – there are parts of God’s great Plan that truly are a mystery.  And that by design, it seems.  But take heart, for the mystery WILL be revealed!  “Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known” (1 Cor 13:12b).  For now, what I really need to know is that God knows all, including me.  That’s where trust comes in, and it goes hand-in-hand with faith.  As I seek understanding from God, He will reveal to me what I need to know when I need to know it.  And there will come a day when He will reveal it all.
