Lev 21-22
God’s laws seem awfully harsh sometimes – in stark contrast to the merciful that we know God is. Paul says in Romans that the law was given that our sin might be made known to us. So perhaps the harsh consequences of the law are so that we realize the truly dire consequences of our sin. And I guess that realization makes the mercy of God that much greater.

How difficult it is to truly let go of everything and commit ourselves fully to God. Thank God that all things are indeed possible with Him.
